Will I still get a period?

During your seven day ‘pill free’ rest period you should expect a period of bleeding that will last several days, much like a ‘natural’ menstrual period. 

Breakthrough bleeding or spotting may also occur during your pill taking cycle in the first couple of months that you take the pill, and this is also more likely to happen if a pill is missed. It is very important that you DO NOT stop taking your pills if breakthrough bleeding occurs.
