When should I start taking the Pill?

You should start taking Levest on the first day of your next period. If you start on the 2-5th day of your period you may not be fully protected from pregnancy straightaway and you will need to take extra contraceptive precautions for the first seven days that you take Levest. 

If you are changing from an alternative method of contraception, then these instructions may vary; please consult your patient information leaflet contained within your Levest pack for more information on what you should do in your individual circumstances, or consult your healthcare provider.
